Sage Payroll (Micropay) 26.1

Sage Payroll 26.1 is now available to download from our website here

 

Some of the New Features are as follows:

 

1.Calendar and Set Period Dates

To make it even easier to process your payroll, you can hide unused fields from the Set Period screen, to show only the fields relevant to your payroll. This allows you to simplify the calendar view and save time processing.

2.SSP enhancements

New messages to make it easier to identify when an employee isn’t eligible for SSP and guidance to set up SSP before you process it.

3.Easier to process the purchase of One4all vouchers.

You can now process purchases of One4all vouchers of up to €1000, without having to split values for any purchases for over €500.

4.CWPS Legislation Changes

We’ve included the latest CWPS legislative changes, to ensure you stay compliant when processing this.

 

 

Before you install

To prepare, we recommend you complete these steps:

Run through the quick checks in our Prepare to install your Sage Payroll update guide, to ensure your installation runs smoothly.

  1. Open Sage Payroll 2023 and log into your Payroll.
  2. Click Help then click System Information.
  3. Confirm your version number is v26.0.
  4. Make a note of the Program Directory and Data Directory.
  5. Back up your data.

 

Download and install

Now you’re ready to download the software.

  1. Close Sage Payroll 2023.
  2. Download Sage Payroll update
  3. Locate and right-click the SagePayroll_V26.1.exe file, and click Run as administrator.
  4. Select the I accept the terms of the licence check box, then click Next.
  5. Select This Computer, then click Next.
  6. Select Custom, then click Next.
  7. Check the program directory and data directory are the same as you noted earlier. If not, click Browse, enter the correct directories, then click OK.
  8. Click Next, then select the Add shortcuts to my desktop check box.
  9. Click Install, then click Finish.
