A summary of error messages and solutions for automatic updates

 

If you receive an error message when downloading or installing an automatic update, please use the table below to check what causes the issue, as well as how to resolve it.

The Sage Update Service could not be contacted. Please check your internet connection or contact your system administratorFailure to establish a connection to the checking service host.Check if you can view web pages, for example, www.google.com

If you can’t, please contact your local IT support.

If you’re using a proxy server, confirm that your proxy settings are in place as above in point 6

AUSE002

The specified Sage Update could not be found. Please contact Sage Customer ServicesFailure to establish a connection to the checking service host.Check if you can view web pages, for example, www.google.com

If you can’t, please contact your local IT support.

If you’re using a proxy server, confirm that your proxy settings are in place as above in point 6

The download failed. Please check your Internet connection or contact your system administratorFailure to establish a connection to the checking service host.

Checking service issued details of an update that cannot be found.

Check if you can view web pages, for example, www.google.com

If you can’t, please contact your local IT support.

If you’re using a proxy server, confirm that your proxy settings are in place as above in point 6

AUSE004

The download failed. Please contact Sage Customer ServicesThe download completed but verification failed, the update may have been damaged, or is  not genuine.Download and install the required update from www.pimbrook.ie

Then check for updates again in Sage Payroll.
