Sage Payroll (Micropay) Update 27.2 (PRSI Changes)
Sage Payroll will have a September update which will include the following important changes:
- PRSI (October 2024 Rate Changes)
- It was announced in the Budget 2024 that all PRSI contribution rates will increase by 0.01% form 1 October 2024.
- You can see the new rates in the Department of Social Protection’s publication (pdf).
- CWPS Rate Changes
- From 5 August 2024, the Construction Workers’ Pension Scheme new weekly contribution rates for Pension, Death in Service and Sick Pay comes into effect.
- ERR:
- Remote working days populated from TS to ERR grid
- Export report on summary screen
- Gender Pay Gap
- ‘Prefer not to say’ option in EE Details/New EE
- Exclude from csv output
- Retitle Time & Pay ‘Errors and Warning’s section to ‘Notifications’
Applying the Update to Sage Payroll Software
Apply this update to your Sage Payroll software before the 1st of October 2024 as follows:
