Stephanie Davies

Managing Director

Stephanie studied in London where she attained qualifications in accountancy. She has worked in accounting and management roles in both the UK and Ireland for over 20 years.

Stephanie progressed her career by moving to a software development company based in Dublin. Her role supported mission-critical business solutions in the pharmaceutical, food, electrical wholesaling and distribution industries. Her  experience at the coalface enabled her to add consultancy, project management, implementation, training and support to her skill set. Most recently Stephanie moved to Sage Ireland, where she became a product specialist and is certified in Sage’s latest product lines.

In what was a natural progression, Stephanie established Brook Software Solutions to fulfil her ambition to return to the role of solution provider. Her decision was bolstered by her excellent relationship with Sage and her confidence in Sage products  .

Tom Shields

Technical Director

Tom is a graduate of the Dublin Institute of Technology, and Trinity College Dublin where he studied Information Technology and its applications in the commercial sector. He has worked as a programmer, analyst and technical lead for over 25 years in software companies developing commercial applications.

With experience of developing software for many business sectors, including wholesale distribution, retail, point of sale, equipment hire and vehicle sales, Tom has spent his most recent years creating bespoke supply chain management software for the pharmaceutical wholesale and distribution sectors in Ireland and the U.K.

Tom managed technical teams and was Technical Director on the board of a successful software company for nearly 10 years. He now oversees all the technical projects within Brook Software Solutions.

Tim Fawson

Software Development Director

Tim started his career with a fifteen year stint in the aerospace engineering arena in the U.K.

From there he moved into the IT sector of a pharmaceutical wholesaling company. Since his move to Ireland fifteen years ago he has been involved in software development for the pharmaceutical industry, spending five years as a director of software development.

Tim now heads up the software development team in Pimbrook.

Nigel Pim

Product Specialist and Training Consultant

A Sage Accounts & Payroll Expert with several years’ experience in systems implementation, Nigel specialises in Sage Micropay, Sage Quickpay and Sage 50. Nigel worked for over eight years in a chartered accountancy practice in Cork before moving to IT support with Infonet / One systems in 1999, supporting Pegasus Opera and Micropay. Now fully trained and accredited in all Sage products including Sage 200 Manufacturing, Nigel is ideally positioned to champion the customer service manifesto.

Jeni Pim

Marketing Manager

Jeni’s vast marketing and social selling skills to Pims, ensuring the customer experience is excellent and consistent throughout the product range and customer level. Her qualifications in industrial microbiology and quality control enhance the level of attention to detail among the Pimbrook team.

Samantha Downing

Technical Support

Samantha studied in the UK and received an honours degree in History, Seeing how fast the world was changing and that technology was at its for front she returned home wanting to be a part of it.

In 2001 Samantha joined Sage Ireland and the Payroll Support desk supporting Quickpay and Micropay and eventually TAS books, there her experience and role changed into management.  Wanting to return to her routes, in 2007 Samantha joined a Sage Business Partner as software consultant/ implementer to Sage 50, Micropay and Quickpay, along with supporting Sage CRM and Sage 200 Financials.  In 2016 she joined the Brook team supporting the Sage 200 base and the Brook software.

Gerard O’Donohoe

Technical Support

Gerry spent several years working for a global tech company in a Senior Technical role supporting hardware and software queries.

After a few years he joined Sage Ireland where he became a Sage 50 Product Specialist supporting customers using the different Sage software packages.

Leaving Sage Ireland in 2012 to join Brook Software Solutions and begin work in his current role as Software Consultant supporting Sage 200 and Brook software.

Gerry has studied in different colleges attaining a Diploma in IT and Business, and has qualifications from the IMI in Frontline Management and Contact Centre Management from UCD.

Mandeep Rathee

Software Developer

Mandeep is graduate of Dublin City University where he has studied Information and Communications Engineering. He started working as System Support Engineer on Dublin Airport. He has been with us since 2012 working as a Junior Software Developer

Sharon Gorman

Implementation, Technical Support and Training Manager

Sharon joined Pims in 2004 and is an expert in Sage Accounting & Payroll Products. She specialises in Sage 50, Sage Payroll.  Sharon is also responsible for all our how to guides, especially our renowned Payroll year end guides.  The glue of the technical support team, Sharon is always calm, and always collected.

Kenneth Lynch

Operations Manager

Ken studied Software Engineering in Sligo IT from 1995 – 1997.

He started my career as a Progress Software engineer working as part of a development team using versions 6,8,9 and OpenEdge, character, GUI and Webspeed on a range of platforms including Unix, Linux and Windows.

Ken has 20+ years hands on experience which include roles from technical support, application development, team lead, Development Manager and more recently Operations Manager.

Specialising in mission critical Supply Chain Management systems and large scale ERP systems, Ken has worked extensively although not exclusively in the pharmaceutical and medical/healthcare sectors.

Valerie Dunphy

Office Manager

Valerie is the go-to person who keeps the whole show on the road. From organising the diary to co-ordinating our legendary training courses, she’s the woman to with the plan. With her vast administration experience, she juggles all of the very important balls – and keeps them in the air!

Gavin Mackay

Software Sales

Gavin is a top graduate from the Sage Business School. He is our lead contact for Sage 200 sales, from the initial meeting through to the implementation process.  Gavin is proficient in understanding client requirements and matching solutions to suit, through extensive solution selling training courses. He is also the key contact if you want to know more about Sage 50, Sage Micropay or Sage CRM. He makes it HIS business to understand YOUR business.  And he makes full use his Scottish accent to his advantage – Sean Connery eat your heart out.

Dawn Roberts

Support Administrator

Dawn joined Pims in February 2014. Dawn has the important role of Support Administrator, ensuring all our support calls are dealt with. She has a BA (Hons) in Law, studied in WIT and graduated in January 2014.  Knowing all out customers by name, and with a memory for numbers that would rival Rain Man- she’s our go to girl for text speak advice and fashion tips.

T.J. O’Malley

Implementation, Technical Support and Training Consultant

T.J. has completed a BSc in Information Technology at Waterford Institute of Technology and a Fetac Level 6 in Consultative Selling.  He has over 20 years experience in customer service, in both the retail and the Human Resource service industries.  His fully-rounded experience ensures a professional and friendly service to clients in the area of technical support. Originally from Co. Meath, he has lived locally in Tramore for the past 13 years and enjoys watching Ireland & Munster playing good rugby, and he enjoys keeping fit.  His turn of phrase on the phone is professional and friendly, putting even the most nervous customer instantly at ease.

Teresa Burke

Implementation, Technical Support and Training Consultant

With vast experience in both accounts and in customer service, Teresa’s expertise ensures professional and friendly service to our clients in the area of technical support.  Having recently returned from intensive training in Sage Accounts with Sage (UK), Teresa is fully trained and ready to take your calls.  She keeps her coffee in a travel mug to have enough time to talk customers through their problems at their time – no time constraints here.  That’s what makes for happy customers.

Ciara Shiels

Ciara joined Pims in 2005, having previously worked with the DPL Group in Accounts Payable and Receivable. Ciara manages credit control and accounts.
