Error 30, 41, 339 or 1801 when emailing or creating PDF documents

This issue occurs if you’ve recently upgraded your operating system to Windows 10, or have ran a Windows 7 or 10 update

Solution

To resolve this issue, you must remove the existing Amyuni PDF driver from your computer then run a repair install of TASBooks.

  1. On the Windows’ desktop, right-click Start, then click Control Panel.
  2. Click Devices and Printers.
  3. Right click TASPDF Printer, then click Remove Device, then click Yes.
  4. Click on an existing printer, then click Print Server Properties from the menu bar.
  5. Click the Drivers tab.
  6. In the Installed printer drivers section, click on an Amyuni driver, then click Remove.
  7. Select Remove driver and driver package, then click OK, then click Yes.
  8. Repeat step 6 and 7 for each Amyuni driver that appears on the listing, then click Close.
  9. Download the latest version of TASBooks.
  10. Browse to and right-click the downloaded TASBooks installation file, then click Run as Administrator.
  11. Uninstall and re-install the program
  12. Once the installation has completed successfully, open TASBooks and try to email or create a PDF document again.

When you open TASBooks you may receive the following message:

‘Unable to find the file: C:\Program Files (x86)\TAS\TASBooks\TSBMAIN.EXE’

 

Solution:

This is due to your anti-virus software blocking this file.

Contact your anti-virus provider or IT support to exclude this file from being blocked.

GDPR – Tas – Remove Customer and Supplier information

Remove old Customer and Supplier Data

 

1. Select 211/311 in TAS and call up the customer/supplier .

Note: It will not be possible to delete the customer/supplier if they have transactional history against them.

2. Select the Cusomter or Supplier you want to mark as inactive

3.  Select ‘Yes’ next to Customer Inactive option see screen below

4. Click Save and Close

Right to erasure (right to be forgotten)

Unless there’s another legal reason for keeping personal data, you must delete or remove the data at the request of the individual. In TASBooks, you can amend the customer or supplier records to overwrite information to anonymise it, for example, change the client name to XXX.
