Updating

The new version of AccountsMate will be downloaded automatically the next time a user opens the application,  just accept all questions and the software update will be installed (note, you will have to have administrator permissions for the PC).

Versions

To check if you are using the new software, check the versions under Help – About, they should be as follows.

  • AccountsMate Console 2.1.0
  • AccountsMate Plugin 2.1.0

Feature Details

1. Notes

Notes can be entered against entities (i.e. customers, suppliers, products and transactions such as orders, invoices, etc.). These allow users to store information about an entity that they are working with (e.g. extra details about a customer or a product or a note about a specific order or invoice).

(These notes are not written back to Sage 50 and so are only available in AccountsMate).

2. Additional Extra Fields

More Extra Fields are available when creating views. These allow users to add data from related entities (e.g. add customer or product data to sales order views, etc.).

3. Compatibility with Sage v29

AccountsMate is fully compatible with Sage 50 v29 and includes access to new data provided in version 29 through the latest ODBC driver.

4. Performance Enhancements

Improvements have been made when loading AccountsMate as well as more efficient memory usage to increase the performance of the software.
